Whispering Eyes began life in London, in 1991, as a theatre company promoting new, multi-cultural and international writing. It was founded by its Artistic Director, Avi Nassa.

In order to keep the unfunded Whispering Eyes running, Avi Nassa created a line of fashion clothing which he sold from a stall in the original Camden Lock Market, on Saturdays and Sundays, all through the eighties and nineties. During Avi’s absence from London in recent years he has taken the range of clothing to an exciting new level.

Now Whispering Eyes makes costumes and accessories for multi-cultural dance, such as fusion belly dance, Indian dance, Egytian, Turkish, Oriental and Tribal dance.The wonderfully light and comfortable feel of the clothes make them popular for Yoga, too.
Old and new wedding saris, rich, spiritual, beautiful and colourful, evolve into high quality, eye catching fashion for the stage and for the street.

Avi Nassa was born in Jerusalem to an Indian mother and Iraqi father. In the course of performing, researching his writing and creating his range of clothing, he has lived in more than a dozen countries world wide. Avi is an actor, writer, magician and cook. His vegeterian Indian food and magic shows call all these elements into play in his unique parties in people’s homes.
